Dollar stablecoin

A dollar stablecoin that stays boring.

CoinStable keeps one US dollar of reserves for every dollar of CSUSD in circulation, redeems at par, and publishes what it holds. No yield games, no lending out your balance, no surprises.

Who it is for

Anyone who has to hold a dollar balance and would rather it stayed one dollar.

Merchants

Settle card and on-chain sales in dollars that do not swing with the market, and cash out to your bank on a schedule you pick.

Bundled banknotes and a green ledger on a desk

Treasury and payroll

Park operating cash in a token that redeems at par, and pay contractors across borders without a correspondent bank in the middle.

A wireframe globe with gold arcs between continents

Cross-border payouts

Move dollars to a partner in minutes, then let them redeem locally, instead of waiting days for a wire to clear.

What it is

One token, one job: hold a dollar. Everything else on this site is about proving we do that.

Pegged at one dollar

One CSUSD is issued for one US dollar and redeemed for one US dollar. The peg is a promise with reserves behind it, not a market position.

Reserves you can name

Cash held at regulated custodian banks and short US Treasury bills, held in segregated accounts, reported line by line every month.

Redeem when you want

Business-day redemption at par, directly with the issuer. No lock-ups, no notice periods, no queue games during quiet markets.

Reserves

What backs every token, and how we show it. The table is the shape of the report; the numbers are placeholders until the first attestation.

Illustrative only. CoinStable does not yet accept deposits, and no attested report has been published. When the pilot opens, the signed report and the custody statements behind it are published here monthly, with the token supply read from the chains we issue on.

How it works

Four steps from dollars in the bank to dollars on a chain, and the same four in reverse.

  1. Open an account

A business or individual onboarding with identity checks, the same as any regulated payment account.

  2. Fund in dollars

Wire USD from your own account to a segregated reserve account. Nothing is custodialised on our balance sheet.

  3. Receive CSUSD

Tokens are minted one for one, on the chain you choose, and delivered to an address you control.

  4. Redeem at par

Send tokens back, and the same dollars are wired to your bank account on the next business day.

Developers

An ordinary ERC-20 with an extraordinary amount of paper behind it. Test contracts first; mainnet deploys with the pilot.

  • Six decimals, no rebasing, no transfer fees, no blacklist surprises in the token contract.
  • Mint and burn only through the issuer contract, always matched by a bank movement the same day.
  • Supply is readable from the chain; the reserve report is published monthly beside it.

Mainnet contract address is published at launch. Testnet: 0x0000…0000 (placeholder).

// settle in dollars, not in hope
IERC20 csusd = IERC20(CSUSD);
csusd.transferFrom(payer, address(this), amount);

// redeem: issuer burns, bank wires
issuer.redeem(amount, bankAccountRef);

Questions people actually ask

The short answers. The long ones live in the terms.

What exactly backs CSUSD?

Cash at regulated custodian banks and US Treasury bills of 90 days or less, held in segregated accounts for the benefit of token holders. Month-end composition is published, with custody statements and a signed attestation, once the pilot is live.

Can it lose its peg?

Any stablecoin can. Ours is designed so that redemption at par is the normal path and the reserves are short, cash-like and publicly reported. If a reserve shortfall were ever found, the report would show it before the peg did.

Do I earn interest?

No. CoinStable does not pay yield on token balances and does not lend reserves out. Interest earned on the reserve portfolio belongs to the issuer, which is how the product is funded.

What does it cost?

Minting and redemption are free at par during the pilot. We charge on the payment and payout rails built on top, not on the token itself. The fee schedule is published with the pilot.

Who can open an account?

Initially, businesses and individuals in supported jurisdictions who complete identity checks. Sanctioned persons and restricted jurisdictions are excluded, and the list of supported countries is published before the pilot opens.

Which chains?

One EVM chain at launch, with a second added once redemption volume justifies it. The token is a plain ERC-20; bridges are not part of the design.

How fast is redemption?

Tokens received before 4pm ET on a business day are wired the next business day. Larger redemptions may need a day longer if Treasury bills have to settle first, and the terms say so plainly.
