Terms of use
Version 0.9 pre-launch · 26 October 2026
These terms cover this website and the CoinStable pilot. They do not yet create a payment account, a custody relationship, or a right to buy or redeem CSUSD: nothing here is open to the public. When the pilot opens, the customer agreement replaces this page and says the same things with more paper.
1. What CoinStable is
CoinStable issues CSUSD, a dollar-denominated stablecoin designed to hold a one-to-one relationship with the US dollar through reserves held at regulated custodians. CoinStable is not a bank, does not take deposits as a bank, and does not pay interest on token balances.
2. Reserves and redemption
Reserves are held in segregated accounts for the benefit of token holders, in cash and short-dated US Treasury bills. Redemption at par is offered to account holders on business days, subject to identity checks, supported jurisdictions, and the settlement timings published in the customer agreement. Reserve reports are published monthly once the pilot is live; the figures on this site before then are labelled illustrative and are not a representation of assets held.
3. No offer, no advice, no yield
Nothing on this site is an offer to sell securities or a solicitation to buy any financial instrument, and nothing is investment, tax or legal advice. CSUSD pays no yield, is not a deposit, and is not insured by any deposit-insurance scheme. You are responsible for your own compliance in your own jurisdiction.
4. Risk
Stablecoins carry reserve, custody, counterparty, technology and regulatory risk. A stablecoin can trade below its peg, redemptions can be delayed by banking cut-offs or by law, smart contracts can fail, and rules can change with little notice. Only hold what you can afford to have tied up while a problem is resolved.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use CoinStable to break sanctions, launder money, finance unlawful activity, evade taxes, or deceive anyone about what backs the token. We may refuse, freeze or reverse an account where the law or a regulator requires it, and we say so in the customer agreement.
6. This website
The site is provided as it is. We try to keep it accurate, but pre-launch pages describe an intended product, not a shipped one. Links to third-party sites are not endorsements. The content, the marks and the artwork are ours or used with permission.
7. Changes and contact
We will date every change to these terms and keep the previous versions on request. Write to hello@coinstable.us for anything on this page, and to support@coinstable.us for account questions once the pilot opens.
